This hardwood cutting board is handmade. It is made from two hardwoods: Maple and Purpleheart.
This is an “edge-grain” board, meaning the edge grain is facing upward. This style typically has less “wood movement” than a “face grain” board.
No stains/dyes have been used on this product. Your board will arrive prefinished with our food safe board butter applied. All of our boards also include a complimentary tin of our board butter so that you may continue care for your board after use. Small rubber feet have been mounted to the bottom to protect your surfaces as well.
